Dear World:
Not ALL British Columbians, OR
Canadians act in the manner you have witnessed on your news.
99.99% of Canadians are truly appalled,
mortified and outraged by the actions of so very few. It is
truly DISGUSTING that a SMALL group
of RADICALS attended Game 7, with their OWN
PLANNED agendas, ruining the unity and national spirit
we were feeling. This most despicable behaviour shows an utter
DISRESPECT to our amazing Vancouver Canucks who
worked so hard this season and got all the way to the final game
of the Stanley Cup, giving us a sense of pride and excitement
that spread throughout the entire country. The TRUE "FANS"
cheered when the game was over, AND were downtown
Vancouver the next morning cleaning up the destruction. Furthermore,
it was NOT "ALL" the YOUTH that were
involved - place the blame were it belongs, we have some amazing
young people in our lives, and THEY went
HOME with the rest of the "FANS." BLESS
the 1st responders for their dedication and commitment during
this truly, horrific event.

What is uniYVRs?
We’ve seen a tremendous outpouring of
good will and a deep community coming together from the vast
kaleidoscope of socio-ethnic-economic groups that share the greater
Vancouver living, working, and playing space.
Many of these groups of people are now
working together in a collective that celebrates the positive here in
Vancouver. Vancouver is showing how we are a model for the rest of the
world – we are truly the uniYVRs.
Be a part of this amazing group of
volunteers and public idea movement – please feel free to add uniYVRs
to your likes and give it your own special touch as a part of our
community.
We will share ways to make our
neighbourhoods better.

Thank-you books were handed to first responders. We were approached by
a group of people who wanted to bring together different Facebook
communities and other people who are focused on doing good things for
Greater Vancouver.
We had first open forum that was
attended by 15-20 people who shared ideas and thoughts to make
Vancouver a better place.
